CONSENTING ADULTS is an intimate observation of a young couple as they wait for another couple they’ve invited for group sex. Both are too preoccupied trying to cover up their own insecurity to actually realize how insecure the other is. Their routined, oblique way of communicating is like a boxing match. Sometimes a swing makes real contact and it hurts, sometimes they just dodge and taunt. But in the end, both are out for the count, when the unspoken is finally said.
